Jenna B. is a professional flutist and dedicated music educator based out of New York City. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Flute Performance from Oberlin Conservatory of Music as a student of Michel Debost, former principal flute of the Orchestre de Paris.
Jenna has performed with the Palm Beach Symphony, the South Florida Symphony Orchestra, and the Florida Wind Symphony, in addition to freelance performances including the Legend of Zelda Symphony of the Goddesses Orchestra and a special chamber orchestra concert accompanying the legendary Stevie Wonder. As an educator, Jenna served as Artist-in-Residence in K-12 music programs over the past decade. In addition to teaching her flute students, she is also delighted to lead composition classes with the Little Orchestra Society in NYC!

Jenna integrates Alexander Technique (AT) principles into her pedagogy as a means of teaching her students how to access their freedom of musical expression. She is working towards the completion of her 1600 hour Alexander Technique teacher certification (AmSAT) in Manhattan, NYC. Jenna teaches her students how to creatively explore the principles underlying instrumental expression and virtuosity!

Jenna enjoys sharing her passion for music with students of all ages and abilities. Her teaching style is tailored to meet the needs of each student as they discover their unique learning process. Whether lessons are to support a fun music hobby or in pursuit of more competitive future aspirations (music school audition prep / college scholarships), Jenna's goal is to help the student discover how to create beautiful, effortless music!
