Paris is a musician, actor, and teacher working in New York City. He trained in classical violin and viola at the New England Conservatory from 1996-2011 with Roger Tapping, Lynn Chang and Irina Muresanu. Upon graduating from NEC's Preparatory Division, he received the Eugene Lehner award for outstanding chamber music work. Paris graduated from Harvard University in 2015 with a degree in Psychology. He has played and sung in jazz, folk and rock groups around the country and around the world. Paris currently teaches acting privately and at New York University's Atlantic studio.

Most recently, Paris wrote string arrangements and performed on the indie-rock album Liza Says, available on streaming services coming soon! He also wrote string arrangements and performed for the folk-rock musical 1969: The Second Man in residence at New York Theater Workshop's NEXT DOOR space, and on the corresponding album, now streaming everywhere. He was heavily featured in Phoebe Kreutz's musical comedy Go! Go! Gilgamesh! as a violinist and lead actor at New York's Frigid Festival for multiple years. He made his Off-Broadway debut playing Officer Lockstock in a production of Urinetown at the Chernuchin Theater. As a member of the Harvard Krokodiloes in 2012, he toured around the world, performing across 15+ countries and 4 continents.

Paris is extremely passionate about teaching today's community of young and budding artists - he remembers where he came from and is grateful every day that he had brilliant mentors around him to help shape him into who he is today.  Paris likes to learn as much as he can about every individual student, and then to move forward onto the journey of improvement, always with precision, always with love.
